When does the Dalai Lama meditate the most? · September 22

I’m with the Dalai Lama and we are walking across a harbor deck together. I ask him when he meditates the most, and he said before sleep. He said sometimes in the middle of the night and when waking up, but the most hours are done before sleep.

Meeting a Master · December 13

I met someone who goes by the title of “Master”. I told him that being a Master is arbitrary. He did not say anything and only hugged me. Although it was a genuine hug, I knew he agreed with me.

A student and a hundred egos · September 9

I’m with a Filipino student and there are many “zombie egos” around him. He kills 100 of them very quickly. I wonder where he gets such power and I tell him that I’ve never killed that many so fast, “you set a world record!”
