The south shore

In April 2012, less than a year after my first out-of-body experience, I arrived on a warm, sunny shore and walked it consciously. For a moment the old pull to forget almost took me back.

I arrived on the shore and enjoyed walking along the beautiful beach, it was sunny and warm and I couldn’t help but feel so peaceful and happy. I saw an old man sitting on a wooden chair and enjoying himself peacefully. As I walked ahead, I came across a hut displaying trinkets of all sorts. I was delighted looking at them - old books, wooden carvings, rustic clocks, and gemstones. The old lady running the stand looked over and smiled peacefully, she matched the rustic setting beautifully. Her clothes were almost Mayan-like. I appreciated this view with the background of nature and thought to myself for a moment “I wish I had my camera to take a picture of this” as if my subconscious was trying to come back in and make me forget that I was out of body. I continued the journey down the path and walked consciously in order to ground myself in the experience. Down the path, I bumped into more people and had some interesting conversations with a couple of people who lived there about crystals and the nature of time.
